How online classes work from any time zone
Every round runs the same way, and it is built so that your location never decides your outcome.
- Live class. You join from a laptop or phone, ask questions, and practise out loud with the instructor.
- Same-day recording. Every lecture is uploaded the same day as a lesson recording you can review. If the live hour is the middle of the night where you are, you lose nothing.
- Homework after every session. You hand in written and spoken tasks; nothing depends on being awake at a particular moment.
- Personal correction. Your Speaking and Writing come back marked against what the DET actually rewards — not a generic essay comment.

Certified instructors, and what “taught in English” means here
Classes are delivered in English by instructors who are qualified and certified in international English examinations, and who work with the DET specifically — not with general conversational English. That matters because the DET is a scoring machine with rules of its own: it rewards a 30-second Read Aloud that is fluent and unhesitant far more than one that is beautiful; it rewards a Write About the Photo answer that is structured and detailed more than one that is clever.
Teaching in English is also deliberate. You are preparing for a test in which you must produce English under time pressure, with no translation step. A class conducted in your first language gives you a comfortable hour and a slower exam. Every student’s Speaking and Writing is corrected personally. Generic advice (“use more linking words”) does not move a score; being told that you start 60% of your sentences with “I think that”, or that you pause for 1.5 seconds before every Read Aloud, does.
Choosing your target score for your universities
The number you aim for should come from the admissions pages of the universities on your list, not from an average. Once you have it, everything else in your preparation is planned backwards from it.

Two things decide whether your result is usable. The first is the overall score. The second is the subscore line: many departments publish a minimum on Literacy or Production as well as the overall number, and that is what most often blocks an otherwise fine result. Aim about five points above the published minimum so a single weak subscore does not sink the application.
Bring the exact wording of your requirement to your first class and the plan is built around it: if Production is the constraint, the hours go to Writing and Speaking; if Comprehension is, they go to Listen and Type and Interactive Listening.

Registration is one form: WhatsApp. The course is paid online by card (Visa or Mastercard) from any country; if your card does not allow international transactions, message us on WhatsApp and we will arrange another option. Schedules are set per round — ask on WhatsApp for the next round’s details.
Once you are enrolled you get your live class links, the same-day recordings, personal correction on everything you hand in, and WhatsApp support between sessions.
The Duolingo exam itself is booked and paid separately with Duolingo on their own site. We never take payment for the test.

- Find out what your universities need. Check the DET row on each institution’s own English language requirements page — not on a blog list. Start with our by-country table.
- Take the official Duolingo practice test to get an honest baseline. It is not certified and cannot be sent anywhere, but it tells you the gap.
- Write down your target, including any subscore minimum your programme states.
- Join a round and let the correction and mock tests do the work.
- Book the certified test when your mock scores sit above your target, not below it.
